Clear Touch Interactive Awarded Digital Edge

Reno, Nevada – Clear Touch Interactive, an American-owned and operated company headquartered in South Carolina, today announced that it has been awarded a DigitalEdge Purchasing Contract from Educational Service District 112. Contract #ESD112-DE16A for “Educational Technology, Wireless Devices and Audio-Visual Equipment” enables K-12 schools, colleges and universities, libraries, and government agencies in 12 Western states (Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming) to conveniently and confidently procure Clear Touch’s multi-touch interactive panels.

The DigitalEdge contract became effective on Jan. 1 following a competitive bidding process. It provides educational and governmental institutions in the 12-state region with the best pricing on Clear Touch’s interactive presentation systems, while simplifying the procurement process.

“As we continue to penetrate new markets and grow our brand on the national stage, we remain committed to making the buying process easy for our customers. This contract does that for public sector organizations on the West Coast,” said West Martin, vice president of sales for Clear Touch Interactive. “We look forward to demonstrating to organizations in this region how our technology is transforming classrooms and revolutionizing the way people interact with their content.”

Clear Touch Interactive panels deliver highly immersive collaboration experiences. Panels are available in six sizes ranging from 55 to 98 inches. Each HD LED display produces brilliant colors on a 4mm anti-glare, anti-friction tempered glass surface. True multi-touch interactivity, with ten simultaneous touch points and rapid response times, is achieved with ScatteredIR technology.

About DigitalEdge Contracts

Since the DigitalEdge Purchasing Program began in 2002, $86.6 million in educational technology solutions has been sold to eligible purchasers. Membership is not required for purchasers to be able to participate in DigitalEdge contracts. State laws authorize “piggybacking” off a bid that was competitively procured by another public agency. School districts may purchase off a DigitalEdge contract without publishing their own bid. All interested organizations are advised to check their governing laws and obtain their own legal counsel to determine eligibility for purchasing products through DigitalEdge contracts. A school district that determines it is eligible to use the DigitalEdge contracts can request an interlocal agreement from the DigitalEdge office at 360.952.3415.
