PEPPM is designed to reduce the time and effort between the decision to buy and the receipt of the products. And, by providing dynamic competitive pricing achieved by leveraging national volumes, money is also saved on the prices. PEPPM has been in existence since 1982, and over $2.0 billion in purchases have been made through the program.

Since 2002, The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS) has been providing efficient, effective, economical purchasing solutions for government entities. TIPS began as a small, regional cooperative of the Region 8 Education Service Center (ESC) in Texas, but it soon grew into a national operation due to its success and its proven ability to eliminate purchasing related stress for its members. USETPA has contracted with the New Hope Technology Foundation to ensure compliance with E-Rate regulations.
